Supervised Visitation Services

Families receiving Supervised Visitation Services can expect to relieve quality family centered visitations that are welcoming, comfortable, culturally informed and judgement free. Pinnacle strives to meet the needs of families in a supportive and encouraging manner. Working with referring agencies, out of home placements, community organizations and Parents, Pinnacle ensures that barriers are overcome in order to achieve the most authentic family visitation time possible.

Family Connection Services

While working with Pinnacle in Family Connection services, this program connects you to emergency and other services so you can meet your family’s day-to-day needs. Family Connections is a short-term service that helps you achieve your long-term goals related to the reason the Department of Child Safety is involved with your family. The Family Connections (FC) program also helps families in the following areas so that  the familes can reach their goals with DCS such as social support, family functioning, family resources, child well-being, parenting attitudes and behavior, and managing parenting stress.

Nurturing Parenting Services

Families receiving services with Pinnacle through Nurturing Parenting services will expect short-term program, with benefits that will improve your relationship with your child for a lifetime. Nurturing Parenting works with families to strengthen parenting in a variety of areas. Nurturing Parenting Practitioners will use workbooks to share information with the parents. In addition to the Nurturing Skills for Families workbook, you can choose to use a selection of workbooks to best meet your family’s needs. Nurturing Parenting provides information about child development and parenting, and time to practice the skills that you are learning in activities
with your child.

Job Description

Interested in making a difference in the life of a child? Do you have empathy for families going through hardship? Then we’re looking for you.

Case Aide will supervise parent/child/family visits and document interactions to ensure compliance with visitation requirements and while assisting parent/child/families with general questions and issues.

Position Type: Full Time

Paid Type: $21/ Salary plus Mileage reimbursement 

Benefits & Perks: PTO + Sick Time Off, Medical and Dental coverage

The Case Aide position requires a reliable vehicle as this position can be extensive driving. Must be willing to drive throughout the Maricopa county and must have open availability during evenings and weekends. 

Requirements

Help Us Soar

  • High School Graduate, some college, degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in Human Service field or child care experience.

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Valid AZ driver’s license

  • Clear Motor Vehicle Record 36-month (3 years)

  • Obtained fingerprint clearance card, or upon hire

  • First Aid/CPR certified, or upon hire

  • No Felonies

  • Current vehicle access and current registration (Working A/C, seatbelts and back seat required for Transport)

  • Current Vehicle Registration 

  • Current vehicle insurance coverage

  • Have access to PC, laptop, tablet, etc. for case notes purposes

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

Make A True Change

•  Transport child(ren) to supervised visitation location
• Supervise the visit between non-custodial parents and their child(ren); This includes monitoring, and if necessary, intervening with the parent or child when inappropriate behaviors are demonstrated
• Monitor and document interactions during supervised visit on visitation summary reports
• Terminate the supervised visitation if the visit becomes harmful to the child
• Maintain a professional relationship with parents, family members and child(ren); Be prompt in keeping appointments and adhering to agree upon schedules
• Properly record time, mileage, and supervised visitation on required documents and submit reports and forms by due date to proper parties
• Respect the visitation site location rules regarding visitation procedures; Always abide by the Department of Child Safety's standards.
